Undiagnosed Another "not sure i belong" person

Not everyone here is diagnosed. Not everyone has the "luxury" of being able to get a diagnosis for financial or other reasons.

You can get a ton of support here on the forum from people who "get it". I know when I post that people here will understand on one level or another. I don't get this kind of understanding in the real world.

Yes, that's such a hugely helpful thing about this forum! The people I know off line don't have this kind of understanding. Sometimes even a well-meaning friend can say hurtful things without realizing it. And one doesn't always have the emotional wherewithal to point it out, help them understand oneself. (I could replace "one doesn't always" with "I never"!)

I am so sorry you for what you have been through. I have found that reaching out online anonymously has been a very therapeutic thing. Hopefully it is for you as well. You are not a bad person.
