Sadly, I think he was looking for a fight or some person, place or thing to vent a ton of anger on.

Do know one thing, well more than one actually, but if you're looking for a confrontation, you're sure to find one.

At best, he was a cook in the Da Nang chowhall and never even saw a spark until the ammo depot blew. At the least, he was slime that never served and liked yanking chains. But when it's an American and he's puking on our allied friends, I yank back, hard.

Well nothing new there: PTSD just lies on top of everything, every cycle up and down. If you're an @$$ before then you're likely just an @$$ with PTSD, if you were an ego needy (maniac) before, then you have ego issues with PTSD, if you're younger or older then you're just younger or older with PTSD. PTSD does not make the person but it certainly messes with how we cope and respond now. I'm sure many of you have seen what I have in group where there is frequently someone that wants to have a bigger PTSD dick or claim more right to suffer. They likely had the same issue before PTSD.

One time I don`t get involved in a cafuffle and nothing major happens. WTF. I thought there would be flashing lights and all when you thread ban.

I think it's the position of the banned logo on the avatar. If you look at someone that's been perma banned theirs looks different.

Good call Jimmy. Well Done Mate. I think it stopped a real flamer quickly.

The sad thing is is that there are probably thousands of vets just like him that are suffering and either won't or can't get the help they need. He was looking for a place to melt down and found it here. I'm mixed about it; part of me wants to punch him for the dumb things he said and part of me would like to be able to help him.

There is a truth here though, and that's this; those of us that have recognized and taken steps to learn to deal with PTSD are here or somewhere trying to get help. It's not nor will it ever be easy. So, even with all the problems we all have collectively we're better off than those that will just rage against how they feel but never take the hard steps to move beyond it.

You know I am always the one to stick up for people. I will always go into bat for someone even if the rest of the forum thought different, but this guy was like stepping on a brown snake, he just kept biting.

Angle, if I thread ban, it places a black stamp, and I think Anthony's is a red stamp. I think he could have posted in other threads, just not that one. I reckon if you had have been on, WW III would have started, he was firing at everyone.

That's the crux of it all. You want help? We'll give it, good advice. But to come on here, spewing obscenities, and he's tried everything and nothing works....and pooff! He attacks one of us. That's the red line. None of us deserve, nor are we trained in crisis intervention to endure that kind of acting up. While still not fully sure if he was indeed military, he needed much more care that we are equipped to offer.

Folks, this site is greater than the sum of it's parts. There is more high quality information about PTSD on here than any other site I've been and I've been plying the waters of the "internet" since the bulletin boards back in the mid eighties. I'm not pumping up my own importance here, I'm a small cog in a very large machine.

But one gets high quality advice here and even a few laughs to boot. For that, I thank you on behalf of all of us you helped.
