As my darling husband has the flu I was lucky to get around 4 - 5 hours sleep last night.

Anyone in NYC willing to accommodate him over night until he gets better (so I can get some sleep) please contact me as he is currently free to a good home ;)

Sure there are lots of sound proof rooms in NYC to accomodate him ;) And the americans have this medicine my big bro buyes for me when he's there, there cold capsules! Miracle capsules for a good night sleep!!

Miracle capsules? WOW, wonder what THOSE are. :)

Brings up a thought though. Hope Anthony saw a Doctor. There are anti-virals that are prescriptions and will at least limit the duration and severity of the flu. They have to be started early to be of any use. .

.... forgot to write down what they are... They dry out your nostrils etc for 6- 8 hours so one can get a good night sleep when having the flu :) ....

Poor Anthony... hope he's feeling better. NYC has to be, like, germ central, USA. Everybody in and out of there from all over the world...

Nyquil is the best- there is a daytime version too. Hope you both feel better soon!

yup, Nyquil. That's what I used to give my spouse when he'd get sick - knock him out so I could get some sleep. Tylenol Cold and Flu works well for me, too. Hope Anthony is feeling better soon! Being sick on vacation is rotten!!

Thanks everyone....think I might keep him after all. Came in before night fall and the colder weather after plenty of fluids, a good meal, some Tylenol, antibiotics & moisturizer for a very snore nose despite the b*m wipes. He slept for awhile, just had a forced hot shower & is now sleeping peacefully.

I'm glad he agreed to stay in tonight - bribery was watching Kung Fu Panda 2 (lol!)
