The stress he feels being reminded may be self-blame and come out at you as anger. :( I don't usually get angry because I can accept I 'did it' (forgot). But it is frightening. Lately I've been wondering if it's bloody brain damage, but it's that transient- later I might remember perfectly.
I do know there are moments likely of dissociation, and physical pain makes it worse, too.
Flashbacks also equate to 'lost time' (only seconds), but he would have to admit he had one too (more stress..?)

-Hugs to you, ++

Thanks Junebug, it's good to hear from the other side of the coin.

Part of his problem is that he bounced up the road on his head. He had a crash helmet on so the skull was undamaged but the neuropsychiatrist warned of potential problems.

I hadn't even thought about the effect of chronic pain! Gosh, more to digest.

Thanks again, x

Yea, I drive my partner nuts. We have whole conversations that I will forget. I ask questions twice in the space of half an hour sometimes too :( and it can get annoying as well when someone says "I told you so" you feel bad and may become annoyed by yourself. Just as Junebug says above. It can be quite frustrating especially when you go into a room and forgot what you wanted to do.
