Anyone Used Valerian Root/scullcap?

I would also like to take St. John's Wort. I have heard it is very good, but sadly it can stop the contraceptive pill from working :(

Anna I didn't know that, but thankfully that is not a problem for me since I am alone these days!:) I did know I couldn't take it while I was drinking. I tried it and I shook and got sick! Then I read and there was a warning against it. Now that I have been sober for almost 2 weeks I am going to try it. I hope it helps with the depression that I have. It gets bad in the winter!

Anyone here experience the effects of both smoking scullcap and using as a tea (or in suppliment form)? Would both be overkill, or can this double infusion method be beneficial? I'd like to grow it if it has multiple and significant benefits.
