And just when I was starting to develop compassion for spiders and cockroaches. :rofl:
One western idea similar to this came from Betty J Eaddy (sp?) who supposedly had a near death experience. She said that she could feel things from the perspectives of those she had influenced and what effect it had on those around them. Both the joy and the pain went way beyond what she realized as far as consequences of actions.
So the in the old example of boss yells at employee, employee goes home in bad mood and yells at wife, wife yells at child, child yells at dog, dog barks at cat, cat chases mouse would work out to be: when the boss dies he will feel the pain and stress of the employee, the spouse, the kid, the dog, the cat, and the mouse. If this is true then I really do feel bad for those who have harmed me. :Hug_emoticon:
