I have never been able to draw hands. Just cannot do it. I mean, I can look at my hand and draw it and it's not bad, but that's it. And I've studied anatomy books, fine art, classical paintings, and anime trying to figure it out! Thank you so much, though. That last one is a self-portrait which lead to a pretty scary image later, so I won't share it here. ;)

does anyone else constantly draw eyes? I do, and I read somewhere, this could be so wrong, that it has something to do with altering personalities or something. just thought that was interesting

yeh I can go ocd with eyes from time to time.

This is so great! Art let's me take time and process stuff rather than my usual avoidance. Dang, it's hard to change. I just started doing collages and this is one I did on body disconnection - not having a body image.

Making dream catchers can be very meditative.

I'm into making things out of trash: I made the white dream catcher using part of a plastic cup for the ring. I made the string by slicing a foam packing sheet. The beads are made of tissue paper from a shopping bag. These were all things that I would have otherwise thrown out.

The blue & white thing is just a glitter bracelet and [unused] dental floss.

Errrrr... I forgot about this thread! Everyone's so talented. Sometimes I think that anything creative I do comes from my pain.... I used to draw, but I have nerve issues in my hands now, so I switched to photography. I do a lot of horror stuff, so I'll keep that off here, but here are a couple shots for ya. I've been working on self portraits - trying to get things out, but not sure I'm ready to share those yet.....

I love love all three of these! Each feels different to me and the third one was so interesting I had to look at it a few times to make sure it was just a photo and not something done from sculpture. It was just so interesting and clever. You really have a talented eye!

Just a quick note. I am not very good at faces at all, especially eyes, and my FM episodes can make painting painful so at times I go back to the camera and I reall enjoy taking photos that capture moments of time. I can certainly see the artist in you coming out. I do love to painting hands, I find them so expressive but they seem so illusive never thought I could paint them again until recently. Very strange.

Ah some of my photography. Yes I know this is a long photo. This is 3 different pics merged together. It is my cousin's yard. Not an actual lake even though they get ducks every year.

Oh.....my......gosh!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never met but one other person. I was in hospital once while young and the girl there was very disturbed and all we did was DRAW EYES!

How do you do them? Do you have an example? I do one eye and then sometimes half the nose.
