Hi Krikkit,

The atmosphere in your drawing is great. Very cool I can smell the diesel and yeah I want a smoke too. Totally made me think of staring at sunset though turbine heat as the radio towers blink in the distance.

keep it up:tup:
Ben

Loveneverfails just saw your drawing. Wow. I have been looking at drawings/photos of time tunnels and vortex's for several years to help a friend and your technique really catches the motion. Excellent work

This is a profile I learned from a book by Patricia Getha using the block method. It has been a good exercise to keep my mind engaged in storing new information about horse and cat anatomy.

There are a bunch of images I recall from drawing horses from petting them and giving them apples to falling off one and hoping I'm not going to get stepped on like a bug. I remember being on a horse at a gallop as one of the most exhilarating and scary things I ever did as kid. I like to pet them like dogs now. That's it:eek:.

I have trouble with my hands when I am feeling anxious and using an art gum eraser against a piece of paper worked to burn a lot of energy.

Very moving work, Forward! Having experienced a few of my own, it feels spot on. I can definitely see the emotion in the piece. You have a gift. :) I think this would be my favorite so far!
Thanks, it means a lot. I am horrible with taking compliments so I will stop myself before I argue how horrible it is...lol. I have been doing more art lately as it's the only time I can stop thinking and just be...maybe I'll share some more, for ego's sake.

Everything everyone has posted is amazing, I'm very impressed :)

Some of the discussions and avatars on the forum regarding randomness and animals in artwork therapy made me interested in drawing fur to see if it would relax me. I have been listening to the song "Breathe" so the rabbit became a way to trigger several old memories. Music combined with art therapy really has been taking the edge off. Caught my hands flexing while rationalizing Houla massacre today and went straight to drawing again.
