Researchers at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia are looking for participants to complete an online survey taking 30-60 minutes on the risk and protective factors for complex trauma in men living in both regional areas and major cities in Australia. This study could lead to better mental health care and interventions for those impacted by traumatic events.
We are seeking cisgender men who have been exposed to prolonged potentially traumatic events during their lifetime. Examples of potentially traumatic events include bullying, neglect, physical or sexual abuse, exposure to violence, or growing up with a family member who suffered from a mental illness or who had drug and/or alcohol problems. To participate, you need to be a cisgender man, aged 18 or over, speak fluent English, and reside in Australia.
