Back Into Hospital Today !!

WELL!!, I have had my endo-scope and the results are this:-

My epiglottis is damaged but is not bleeding at the moment, my sub-par-section is inflamed but not bleeding at this time, however I have an acute duodenal bleed into my stomach that will require surgery to fix and seal, I am on heavy dose meds to stem the bleed and am back in hospital next week for corrective surgery.

My Omeprazole script has been increased from 10 ml to 60 ml per day to stem the flow of blood, I still face major surgery but am hopeful now for a positive. result

7:42 am here and a fitful night, slept since 5 am until now, still feel really groggy after the scope.

Tummy and that really tender after the procedure, will be taking a full day out of life in the open world today *apart from needing to do the shopping that is, mums really poorly with her fibromyalgia at the moment and struggles to stand up let alone walk far.

I am a big boy now and can help her in anyway she needs, after all,I have lost all of my family due to PTSD and my alcoholism, most of my friends will not even look at me let alone speak to e anymore, I do not want to ace this period in my life alone so I am not going to, I am
going to start rebuilding my relationships with my family first.

Basically in answer to @Ed Norton i have a confirmed acute duodenal bleed. This haematoma sack is masking the main tumor which is behind the stomach bleed between the haematoma and my stomach lining.

I await further blood test results after the endoscopy yesterday, as I am allergic to both Aspirin and Voltarol (Diclofenac) they had to find another pre-med and anesthetic with which to sedate me, hmmmmmmmmm 24 hours later and I am still feeling the effects of whatever they gave me and have managed to get myself banned from chat again because of my continual ramblings !!. hey Ho if thems the rulez then themz the rulez.

It is now Sunday am and I am finally awake and comp us mentus for the first time in 4 days. My throat is very sore though still but that is getting better,at least I can now drink a warm cup of tea. Was getting bored of just drinking plain water.

I really hope you are ok. I am actually quite worried, that the medicine they gave you has affected ou this long. I wonder if they do things different over there? They didn't use general anesthesia?
