Thanks Phoenix.

Funny you should say it- just adopted a horrendously (apparently) abused dog- (she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT IN EVERY WAY, lol :inlove: )- but the only thing she has had some difficulty with in the last 2 weeks we've had her, is that she's afraid to eat and drink water- literally. I think it's because she was beaten terribly as a puppy for not being housebroken (which would not have occurred- as in training- were she abused).
Anyway, good treats have taken away the eating issue right from the start, but she'll literally only go 'pee' with me, can you believe it.

How much we take for granted - or I do- even the 'absence' of what seems just 'normal' expectations for most people, that we don't realize we are 'able' to have.

Poor sweet dog. I am glad she has someone like you to help her :inlove: and give her a good home.

No person or animal should ever be mistreated that way.

My cat isn't scared enough... LOL... She knows darn well she is not supposed to knead her claws on the wood furniture, but she hears me say her name and keeps doing it, and waits till I walk right up to her before she stops fast--then she just stands there looking at me, because she knows I'm never going to do any more than that. LOL. Brat.... Did I say that? I meant cat. LOL. :)

My daughter is the cat whisperer though... She can actually get the cat to do things by asking her, like a dog. Never seen a cat do that. Dogs, yes, but not cats. But the cat actually listens to her.
