Peer Support Group In Boston Area

Hi everyone:

I just wanted to let others know about a resource available in the Boston area: Vital Cycles is the name of the nonprofit that offers peer support groups for survivors of trauma. You can find more information at the website (just google the name 'Vital Cycles').

There are currently groups in Chelmsford, MA, Melrose, MA and Nashua, NH. (As well as a couple in Philadelphia.) The group also offers healing weekend retreats for survivors of trauma. There is a small one with limited enrollment opportunities coming up in August in Virginia. I have found both the retreats and the support groups very helpful.

Wow...some of these posts are quite old. Has anything happened yet? I am in Waltham, MA and sometimes have a hard time traveling because I also have CFIDS. Aren't I the lucky lady!

I am looking to start a private, online group for people for people affected by PTSD the Boston area. If you are interested please PM me. This way, those who cannot easily displace themselves will have easy access, and there can be open lines of communication 24/7 and you won't have to wait til the support group meets in person.
