So I've been having a really hard time with symptoms. It got so I just needed a break from my severity of symptoms and I had a smoke of bud.
It's not legal for me to do that but I just needed some relief. I don't plan to take it up as a regular thing, although if I could get some medical support behind me I could use as needed for alleviation of symptoms
.
I'm just not sure what to do now as I'm definitely feeling a lift from pain and suffering and my lack of functionality that I've been subject to. But I can't do "criminal" .
I'm in Australia and it is supposed to be legal for "chronic and painful conditions" but it's newly changed and I'm not really sure about it or whether I would get support to use occasionally when things are not improving and I'm debilitated, like now. Any thoughts or info, anyone?

Perhaps ask one of the professionals who would be offering that method about what the procedure is to acquire it legally for medicinal use. I had a friend here in the states who had to agree to take a drug test each month for a year (I think that's the correct time frame) to prove he wasn't taking other substances for the pain before he could get approved. Not sure how that all worked out with pain management in the meantime while he was waiting, though. It pisses me off something so helpful to so many is still illegal in so many places. Is CBD oil illegal there, too? I've heard of many folks finding relief with that. But there again, each person is different and you really never know until you try.

I've used it throughout my past in an attempt to settle my symptoms and it did a wonderful job... temporarily. I believe it can be used in a controlled, matured way but I caution you not to rely on it, because as much of a temporary relief it provides-- it also keeps you from having the clarity of mind to address your issues.

You specified the time frame for your abstinence... including the .5/half year that you abstained. This spoke to me. It tells me you have pride about your abstinence and that cannibis may have had a hold on you in some way. If you fear going back to, or even being subject to dependency, then trust your gut. If you don't want to engage in regular use of cannabis, then decide not to, and stick with that. Like any substance, you have to be careful to not let it have a power over you because it temporarily relieves your symptoms. It doesn't actually heal any emotional problem you're having. Inner work is required. Being high on anything is a distraction from that.

I don't personally believe cannibis is a harmful drug. It provides many wonderful benefits for people who use it in a controlled way. I had to stop because it distracted me from the inner work I had to do and I had become emotionally dependent upon it. Only you would know what's best for you and there's no judgment here! Just listen carefully and quietly to yourself and use your best judgement. Remember...emotional states, although torturously reoccuring with PTSD, are temporary and you have ultimate control over how much power you give it. PTSD makes us forget that.

Find a doctor that will prescribe it to you. Lots of people seem to be afraid of cannabis. It is all the hype that goes with the lies that have kept it illegal for so long they are still using lies made in the 1930's. It is a substance that has thousands of years use as a medicinal and recreational substance.
I here people say they would never use cannabis that is a addictive and dangerous. I know the medications they are on and several over dose is possible with death as an out come. They talk about all the harm so I ask them what harm can you show me with proof they can show me none.
My doctors only problem is the smoking of it as any thing burn going to harm your throat and lungs. He tells me to use as much as it takes. The main side effect is putting you to sleep and we want that you can not OD and die from it. Then people talk about it being psychoactive most mental health medications and a lot of health medications alter you completely. So can we stay real, go and do your own google searches And see what the cost and consequences to health and society different substances cause. I did cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, sugar, opiates and pharmaceutical medication see what you find.
Thanks for the post

If that is what helps you, it is not like you can die from taking Cannabis if you take too much. You are not an addict like a lot of people would have you believe. Cannabis has been proven to alleviate symptoms from PTSD. Happy toking! #420
