PTSD Forum uses an image captcha system provided by KeyCaptcha. We have now upgraded our system so that it is mobile friendly for registrations from mobile devices; it now uses a drag system where you touch a single slider and move it until the matching jigsaw pieces fall into the right place. So touch and simplicity, combined.
We've also changed the captcha to a magnetic grid system, so the images are used from a wide range of fields, and you're presented them as a jigsaw. You slide the pieces into the puzzle and done.
If you see columns, and have to slide images into the right column, then that is an additional security feature of KeyCaptcha, where your IP has solved it too many times and thus it has stepped up the security level. I see that when using my home system IP, being dedicated, yet different when using a mobile connection.
