Gosh, sorry to hear you don't go to church.. I found a WONDERFUL church that has online sermons ( a ton of them, sorted in order , and you can select what to hear) I wish you could check it out and be delighted by some...Google "grace bible church arroyo grande ca " for the website. (The actual church is awesome cuz they have so much music and singing and classes and activity....)

I think a lot of churches and "Christians" view mental illness as a character flaw and not as illne...

Wow. I'm blessed to live in an area where counseling at churches is not only provided but encouraged. My last counselor was AT a baptist church. It's sad that so many people are so angry at the church simply because they went to bad ones.

And I was referred to a Christian counselor for edmr except they didn't take me insurance. Bummer.

MY church helped me out financially recently, something I really needed at the time it was given. I am so grateful to my church and the love that has been given to me there in so many ways. I have good friends there. Just saying....
