Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone has color tinted glasses and if so, what colors, and do they help with your symptoms?

I’m going to get blue tinted glasses to see if they help keep me calm.

I don’t think most of us would want to try red tinted lenses as red can be quite activating.

I know you can get them for around $10 a pair, non-prescription, but I’m going to spend a little more so that I can get a prescription pair.

Thanks!

Deeper blues can be more muting than calming. Everything gets "quieter."

Yellow gives me energy and makes me feel more cheery or less doom-y.

Pink or Rose I detect a low-level anxiety. For that reason I don't mess with red.

Don't know about green.

Eve I got those glasses for night time to block out the light from those street lights which apparently has an effect on your melatonin levels but I just didn't like how it felt when I wore them. My eyes felt weird. I don't have a prescription and they weren't prescription glasses so I'm not sure what the deal was.

Simply tinted glasses annoy the f*ck out of me. In any colour.

The lavender tinted sunglasses for snow??? (Oakley) Looooove. :inlove: Not just in snow, but any kind of flat light & glare where it’s all indirect and bouncing off of other surfaces (snow, overcast skies, cliff faces, sand, skyscrapers, white painted walls, photography lights, lakes/seas/oceans, sidewalks, etc.). Absolutely nothing better for increased clarity and happy eyes in the North.

More towards the equator where the light is a completely different hue, saturation, angle? Yellow tinted shooting glasses rock.

Neither of these are cheap, but they’re phenom.
