My darling husband went to the dentist - left 3 hours ago. 10 minute drive maximum to the Dentist.

Mentioned something about a crown - normal dentist appointment 30 mins - 45 mins. Said nothing out of the ordinary.

3 hours later he's still not home. Okay, starting to get worried, ring mobile phone......... hear it ringing in other room. :poop:

Toss around thoughts of worry in my head and then think, feeling stupid, I should ring the dentist to find out when he left. Turns out he is still there having major work and two crowns.

The dental receptionist laughed when I told her I had been worried that he had been in a car accident or something and I left her with a message for my sweetheart...."did he know what a mobile phone was for"....argh! :ninja:

There might be some dental working going on when he gets home now after making me so worried.

Just picture me in the blue outfit! :roflmao:

OMG, Brokenchild and I are in for major dental work today. Please DO NOT let our dentist have a drill like that:eek:.

I am told similar things about the purpose of a mobile phone, I do take mine with me, but never hear it because I don't listen out for it. I always think no-one phones me

Oh sorry KP. Condolences re the dental treatment.

As for the mobile phone.... have you considered taking it off silent and adding vibrate? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Two crowns today... first sessions, temp crown fitted on both, about two hours total. Ouch... next one is easy in two weeks though, just the real crowns fitted and all will be well.

I hate going to the dentist... yuk!

Awww.... poor you. (kisses xxx) If only I had known I wouldn't have been so worried.

As for dentists... the drills sound like finger nails on a chalkboard from school days and makes me shiver to the bone.

As for the mobile phone.... have you considered taking it off silent and adding vibrate? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

It does vibrate and is on the loudest setting, if I hear it I generally just think, 'oh what is that noise'. Then is gives the missed call and answerphone peep noise. At that stage I know what the music was - doh

I'd just like to say that one of the reasons I love this forum is because there are people from all over the world.
If I ever said I "rang someones mobile" here in the states, people would think I lost my mind. Lol!

ISL- haha.

I've managed to avoid (all) cavities while still consuming my body weight in sugar.. what's with that??!
(Think I've scared my cavities away... ;))
Maybe- eat cheese (?)

Good luck to everyone.. bring BIG HEADPHONES.
