Dark comes early, clocks set back: deep Depression arrives

During the summer it can be 9:00pm and still not dark. Now, it'll be around 415pm. Just around the time I'm heading home. It's depressing, I wake up and the first thing that comes to my mind- I can't wait to go back to bed. I don't sleep much either. Random question but those who have DID- does it take you and your parts a very long time to get to sleep?I t does for us. At the end of the day when the world finally feels quiet, my parts will start chatting.
Every day, I fight the urge to stay in bed, under the covers to avoid the day. It seems like the constant theme every year is to find one thing to keep me going and not feed into all the logical reasons not to.

Ever considered switching to night or swing work, so that your private life is in the sunshine?

My knee-jerk (for MYSELF) is always to moooooove somewhere I adore the climate. But when I’m stuck somewhere, geographically speaking? Next order of business is ordering my day to make the best of wherever I’m at. Rather than suffering through.

@Punky143 sleeping is hard for us too. It takes a lot of time to get to sleep, but then we need a lot of time to transition into being awake on the other end, too.

The time change is hard. I Hope ot gets a little easier.
