Dating A Older Ptsd Partner?

I'm 23 and the guy I like is in his 40's. I really like him but a person with PTSD like you seems to be a bit more understanding. he's every bit of what I like and what I do to be a older guy. Does age matter? He works for the FBI, and he's a loner every time I see him. I read about people with PTSD in relationships on here so I decided to post about this.
