I think it's quite funny that anyone would think this is the dentist's fault. He is not the one putting me on this medication. It is the responsibility of the prescribing doctor to inform the patient of side effects and what those do to you. Period.
My dentist did know what I was on. Unfortunately, I can't pronounce the generic name so I call it by it's brand name. Which isn't well known here. He didn't recognize what it was due to that. My dentist feels terrible, but it's not his fault.
