Do Videos or Online Content Ever Help You Relax?

Sometimes I find that watching simple, calming videos can help me take my mind off things for a while, especially when I need a distraction.

I'm curious whether other people here find certain types of videos helpful for relaxing or changing their focus. Do you prefer nature videos, pets, music, funny clips, or something completely different?

What kind of content helps you feel a little more settled when you need a break?

Greetings...

My background and proclivities draws me towards pretty cold nonfiction reading whereby the dish of the day is usually pretty downbeat and hardly life-affirming; i.e. typically a diet of public policy history, economics, social psychology as mass society fitfully attempts to attach cause to unpleasant effect, etc. Not exactly the stuff one might study consistent with having an informal chat with others, whereas the isolation experienced is often felt harshly here; i.e. people can be all around, although if they read precious little outside of formal (and brief) schooling, it's hard for either party to sustain interest and affirm common humanity beyond the bare exchange of pleasantries...

Strangely, what on occasion helps to break up my days would be a current affairs minded and informed would-be astrologist out of Australia who just comes across as a loving aunt I otherwise could really value were she to exist right near at hand. I suppose part of me wants to discount much of this as nonsense in terms of the scientific validity of astrology, etc., although understand and appreciate that I've come to value the presence of just another comforting voice over YouTube more and find myself not strictly minding or caring.

Every three to five days she uploads a podcast lasting for maybe thirty or forty minutes, and hugely relieved I am to experience what seems like an engaged visit consistent with mirroring my concerns regarding the state of affairs endured locally (lost in the Midwest U.S. here and not a terribly happy place it is), whereas it's calming to sense that I 'matter' for 'having a guest' manifest thus. The time commitment is about all I can stand or weather, hence it really is like an in person visit otherwise not mine to enjoy. Not for everyone then, but something I've found helpful during dark times, dark days:
