Hi all

Its been ages since I posted and I do hope all is well.

The 'case' is all behind us now and we are hoping for a fresh start now - things have been good although a few cracks recently.

Hubby was offered ongoing work photography wise and this really made his day.

They loved him and his style.

However he didnt relaise the stress and thought he could handle it.

We should have known as with PTSD he needs quiet and this was with 60 screaming kids and their parents too.

They are now saying that he owes them a lot of money and that 'he withheld information' as he said he cant cope with the stress and the noise and told them about the PTSD.

I wondered lovely people - Do you have to tell a potential employer if they dont ask - and this was just self employed anyway!!

I hope that all is well in your lives and thank you for reading.

Much love, as always Sunshine.

I would say - and this is just my opinion - that there is a whole world of difference between being employed and being self employed, but that it would depend on the type of contract. Was it in a school? Did he have a written contact?

Best of luck with it...

Legally in my country you are not obligated to say anything. Quite the opposite is the case, you're being protected. As Toria said, self-employed/contracting work is different anyways. I do not think there's a legal obligation at all; but if you want to know the law, make sure to check for your country.

Good luck!

Thanks so much everyone.

We have heard back and they are not supporting us at all by reducing the costs - 2 days of training with this company and it is costing us nearly £700 :O(

An expensive and stressful lesson to learn and that PTSD stopped him from moving forward with regular work too.

I will check out the forum soon - had a lot to juggle and I do hope that everyone is doing well.

Much love Sunshine
