I've always slept with stuffed animals or a squishy pillow (I currently have a navy blue squishy pillow), even before I was molested. The most stuffed animals I slept with were at least 15, as a young child. Now it's just one small, very soft pillow. Not only is it comforting, but it keeps me from rolling into a very uncomfortable ball, keeping my head propped up.

Vote and explain! ;)

My room was very cold growing up, and having asthma, my mom thought it was good to "prop me up". So I sleep on at least 3 pillows, and always have at least a sheet and a blanket (I like the weight), and with summer right now, the a/c is cranked and a fan is going, and I am snuggled in lol. I keep stuffies next to the bed, and depending on how I am feeling, this one or that one will sleep with me. (they all have a different purpose).
This was a fun question :)

I have a stuffed bunny named "Thumper" (not the Disney bunny) that I have slept with since I came home as a newborn. When I was little I took him everywhere but as I got older, like 8, I started leaving him at home because I was scared I would lose him. I also only brought him to sleepovers at my best friends' house because they lived down the street and I knew if I forgot him, I could just run and get him. When I slept at other friends' houses, I'd bring a "back-up" stuffed animal, either my brother's turtle or my sister's doll (neither of which were of major significance to them). I'm 30 now and he still hangs out on my bed. He's great! My best friend from childhood came down this weekend and when she came out of my room she was like "Can I just say how jealous I am that you still have Thumper?" I smiled and felt bad because she had a stuffed mouse just like my rabbit but time did not give him any favors and he desintigrated when we were in high school. She has a tiny patch about the size of a quarter of him left and she keeps him in a special place.
