I think Trump has some weird brain disease. I can't think of any other explanation. The stuff he says is nothing less than ludicrous.

The scary thing is I think he believes his own bullshit. That's all he's got is bullshit. And I think he really believes it. And sadly, a lot of Americans do, too, because he offers them a way to explain their fears and insecurities without them having to do anything. Fortunately, his supporters are not nearly a majority necessary for him to win. But we have to be vigilant. Remember how W. stole the election in 2000? And, just a reminder, guys, our forefathers won this country from the British in the 1770s because so many of us were willing to DO something (no offense to our British members, we love you, guys.). Sacrifice our lives, if necessary. That's our heritage and that's now our present. We have to protect America from the fascists like Trump and the killers like Mateen. Yeah, I put them both in something of the same category. Both kinds of people are extremely dangerous to our democracy. Anglo-American fascists and Muslim-American fascists. Both are really, really bad. Ha, they have more in common with each other than either side would ever admit, lol. And if it came down to it, I for one would be willing to lay down my life for my country, its best ideals, PTSD be damned. Not without a fight, however. I hate to say it, but if Trump ever did come into power, I think it would be a matter of whether or not we risk our lives for our America. I know it sounds extreme, but, that how these things creep up on us. We don't really want to believe that someone is that extreme, then, before we know it, he or she is, and we are screwed. I truly think we are at risk for this kind of situation with Trump. I really think the free world has not been in this kind of danger since WWII. I wouldn't be surprised if he has already developed some kind of watch list of his opponents.

Eh, I hate guns, but if push comes to shove, I may buy one and practice using it. I'm not kidding. This guy scares me that much.

Damn, I know how extreme I sound, but I don't get this way easily. Trump scares the hell out of me. If anyone heard his speech today, I rest my case. Trump is more scary to me than any of my abusers ever were. At least they didn't threaten our America, just me. And I always had our America to fall back on. Till now.

God, please take us back to the 80s when Trump was just a weirdo businessman. I just wanna hear Cyndi Lauper sing "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and not have to worry about this creature. Eh, okay, yeah, I know we have to deal with this creature. I'll do my bit.

@The Albatross , it's my perception that that stuff has been beaten to death. I have no idea how much is true. There's probably no way to know, at this point. Personally, I think most of the big time politicians are guilty of bending what ever rules they can to suit their own purposes. This year, I'm afraid we have the 21st century equivalent of Richard Nixon vs Adolph Hitler. I might vote Nader again........

Ah, Scout, I think there is no comparison between Trump and Nixon. I would hate to have to do it, but I'd definitely vote for Nixon over Trump,if forced to.

My thought was the Trump reminds me of Hitler and Clinton reminds me of Nixon. I never liked Nixon but if I had to pick between him & Hitler......

Hillary is so hated because she's female. Male politicians get away with a lot more on a regular basis and it doesn't even make a blip on the radar.

Well, to be fair, I can see why Hillary isn't really liked. Unfortunately, she just doesn't have a really likable personality. But she can still definitely be respected and trusted to be a good president. Presidents don't have to be likeable. They have to be capable. And that she is, in spades. She's my woman for the job!

Plus, even though she isn't really likeable to many of us, she is extremely respected among other world leaders, and that is a huge thing. She doesn't even have to be likeable to them, but respected? That's my girl. That's who I want as my representative to the world as an American. Can anyone imagine how ashamed we would be if Trump were in that position, meeting with other world leaders, representing us? Arrggghhh, worst nightmare, ever. And that's only the foreign policy set of issues.

I don't have the energy tonight to even begin on the domestic policies and how those two differ. Umm, yeah, well, given the teeny tiny little bit Trump has ever offered on domestic policies. Jeez. What a cretin. I don't normally namecall, but some, a very few people, really deserve it. Trump is one of them.

Oh, and man oh man, if she chooses Elizabeth Warren as her running mate, we are in like flint!!
