Hitler was elected. The US is truly repeating the patterns of history and I hope the country gets off this path ASAP.

CNN video/article. Trump says he could shoot people and not lose any voters. I tried to post the link but can't.

I read that quote and it touches on just how caught up people are in the Trump movement.

I really am beginning to think he could shoot someone and people would still vote for him. People let Hitler stay in power even after he began to break the law.

I heard that analysts determined he speaks at a 4th grade level. That may be from your link, JMH.

It goes into his sentence structure more deeply than grade level and why it draws people in. It's more than simplistic language. It's really interesting and manipulative.

I have also looked up similarities between Donald Trump's rise to power and Hilter's. Frightening. So many things in common.

What can an ordinary citizen do but keep raising the alarm bells?

And vote for every Democrat you can! If he gets in with a Republican Congress, we are all screwed.

I think we are screwed no matter what kind of congress we have, in part because what it would be saying about our country of Trump gets elected. I say that as someone who has voted for democrat, republican and libertarian candidates!

That was pretty interesting. What he said sounded like gibberish to me. I still don't get it. (Was talking about this with my T today. He said, "You STILL over estimate the intelligence of the average person. But, you've been doing that since the first time I met you so I guess I shouldn't be surprised." :D)

I think that a big reason people like him is he mirrors a lot of simplistic ideas that many people have..like 'nuke'em all!' little do they know of the repercussions. Simple minds are simple.

Supreme court justices. 2 probable replacements during next admin. SC gave W the presidency. ONE VOTE for all of us. Citizens United, Corporations are people too. Imagine vacancies filled by Trump.
