Dont Give Up

I read some stuff on here and I just wanted to say to everyone out there just dont give up. If your trying to help somebody or the one struggling. Its a rollercoaster constantly few weeks up and even more down. even though you may think you understand I promise you do not, you cant. we are each in our own hell trying to find some shade. you might not think we care, we do. you might not think we love you, god we do and now more then ever. and god knows we may show it in some pretty #$%$#@ up ways. we may never find ourselves again but we remember what we were like and wish we could show you. either way we cant stop trying so dont give up on us you never know someday we might just get a feeling thats familiar

Thank you so much for this post. My husband is struggling with ptsd right now. We are separated because he says he doesn't love me anymore. I don't think that's true. I have him in therapy right now. I'm hoping that he does still love me and that he's just emotionally numb. I will fight for him until he tells me he's done. He said he does want a divorce but wants to go through counseling first before he makes any decisions. I'm so heartbroken but I won't give up on him.

Georgia, altho' I deeply thank you for supporting your Veteran. That can be an enormous asset to one with PTSD. But I have to tell you to post in the other forum as this one is for combat Veterans. I believe there's a forum just for wives and lady friends over there.
