My psychiatrist put me on Effexor. Has anyone experienced any side effects, and if so, what were they?

I'm sorry no-one shared that info with you. The good thing about Effexor is that it's older, so there is a lot of info about how it behaves, how people react to it. It's very effective for many people, and it's good for long-term use. But yeah, it's not easy to stop. They just said it would help.
That's sub-clinical, I think. Is your doctor planning on moving you up to 75mg/day after 7 days?Effexor (37.5 mg a day).
