Merely a head's up to you all, I will not be answering everyone's posts and PMs in a timely fashion for the next few days, due to a very busy household at present. It is not often my family complains that I am doing too much, however they are complaining at the moment, so I will be doing less on here until things settle down at home. This forum is certainly very addicting I find, but my family must come first of course. Those who have asked for help or advice, I will answer eventually, however please be patient.

Good luck, family should defenetely come first. Say hi to Evie form myself amd my newly adopted Rottie!

My Roland is just a 100 lb of pure love :) However, it is just AMAZING how a large dog increases you feeling of safety. Guns or window bars can not be compared. Roland just changed our life.

Take your time Kathy your family need your attention that is more important!
I am sure we will get by:wink:

Thank you all. The madness is continuing with no signs of letting up. My daughter-in-law is ill and staying with us at the moment, along with our 4 week old twin grandsons. My second youngest boy has come home with his girlfriend, being evicted from another apartment. Additionally, my teenager totalled my husband's truck last night, and afterwards the power went out here, and we are now running everything from the generator!

I have 7 children (6 living) and 8 grandchildren... my advice you all you young couples out there is stop after one or two!

Oh my goodness Kathy, I have to say this is a real madhouse when you have so many children all at once! Please take care of yourself!
Your post is answering the question why I am childfree
Hope things will go better for you and your family!

Love my kids dearly. However. Sometimes I envy people like you Linda. Goddamn it, that truck was only 2 years old. Total write off. Not only that, but the little bastard has no license yet! So no insurance pay out unless his mother and I decide to charge him with stealing the truck. Which we may do.

Jim.

Hi Jim,
You may be envious to child-free people, but, however, I think you still have more positive than negative with your kids. You seem to be such a great father for them. See, if my animals make a mess in the living room (I used to have a dog who would intentionally poop on beds!), or chew something up, or wake me up at 3 am, it is annoying. But I still would rather have animals than don't have them. It is probably similar thing here. I just appreciate freedom too much for being a parent.
Sorry, the stealing thing, especially with cars, are always drive me crazy and mad...:wall:
I just hope you guys will find a right solution for this priblem. Good luck.

Did he actually steal the truck? I could not imagine if some one /anyone stole my car... it is my livelihood and I would be buggered without it! I hope all goes well from now on, especially with such a busy household.
And Kathy, thanks for the advice, I am pretty sure I will be sticking with just the two now!!!
Tammy
