First time here.Diagnosis PTSD after an assault I am suffering same symptoms of fear getting out places. I feel like everybody wants to hurt me anytime. All the time hypervigilant. I can not stand the anxiety, náusea, cephalea, palpitations and tremor. So every time I feel like that I decide to run to my car, lock the door and go back to home. Any help please? Thanks for having me here.
I can relate exactly to what you are feeling! Before the armed robbery I was victim of occurred I was very independent, sociable, and loved getting out and going places. Now I have to talk myself into doing so and when I do attempt it I almost always end up having a full blown panic attack and have to come home. It is awful and I'm so sorry you are going through this! I am seeing a trauma specialist which is helping but I'm impatient to have my old self back. Are you seeing a therapist that specializes in PTSD?
