Subject: Fifty Shades of Grey (Joke).

Four guys have been going on the same fishing trip for many years. This year, Ron's wife puts her foot down and tells him he isn't going.

Two days later, the other guys get to the camping site only to find Ron sitting there with a tent set up. "Dang Ron, how did you talk your missus into letting you go?"

"Well, yesterday evening, after my wife finished reading "Fifty Shades Of Gray," she pulled me into our bedroom. On the bed she had handcuffs and ropes! She told me to tie and cuff her to the bed, and I did. Then she said, "Do whatever you want."

So, Here I am!!!

I started this series about five days ago. Just finished reading the last book. Initially I was resistant to reading this series given the mixed reviews I had heard from friends. But I found myself needing a new book to read and decided to give it a try.

I could have done with a few less graphic sex scenes. As others have said, after awhile it just became repetitive and monotonous. I did enjoy the story (obviously, since I continued on to read all three books), but found myself wishing for more substance and details about the actual characters and plot. It seemed like just when we were starting to get more of the story the author would veer back off into another sex scene and leave me waiting to get back to the actual story.

I also agree that the ending of the third book seemed rushed and would have liked more story and description as Christian started to understand himself more and they found some balance in their relationship. However, at this point, I highly doubt I would read an additional Fifty Shades book if one were to be published. Kind of over it at this point.
