I am so sorry for your loss.

I try to explain it to those closest to me, as if I somehow need to describe it to get it out of my system.

This is a great place to write out (describe) what happened. I have found people here to be very supportive and nonjudgemental. I'm sure you will too. So write it out as many times as you need to and we will listen.
