Goal For The Day

[Let It Be]

With the cooler temperatures, I knew it was time for the filter in the furnace to be changed. The furnace is in the attic, thus a person needs to stand on a ladder to do the job. I know I can't do it, so I would need to call this guy who did it last winter.

I also knew that this guy had lost a son this summer, so just making the call was emotionally draining for me, but I held my breath and did it. The call went well and he said he will come out this week to do it for me. So relieved!

To finish wallpapering the corner of our room.

Done apart from one thin strip which needs some careful precise measuring.

To learn some more vocabularies and to write some words in my notebook.

Clean one room well and walk two miles.

To practise my Russian vocabularies again and to continue writing my new story. Later on, I will cook a veggie soup. :-)

In spite of the great mouth pain, I am going to eat some real food today.

Go through the day and keeping my head in the right place and not letting the negative thoughts and emotions become dominant.

I am going to focus on resting and relaxing and healing and recovery for my mouth. I am waiting for the huge bruise on my face and neck to go away. I am overwhelmed with so many things to do but I will just focus on my healing for now and I plan on enjoying it.

I've spent the last three days working the burrs out of my horses tails, feather and forelocks and short of pulling each hair strand by strand to free the burr, I am not making a lot of progress. Needless to say, I get tired before they do so I have a new strategy and am going to try conditioner to see if it makes it easier. I will win Battle of the Burrs!

I ate mostly healthily yesterday - my goal is to eat healthily today, too.
