Gone On Vacation; Sick Leave

Hi everyone, I've decided to create this thread because we get to wonder what's going on with a member when we don't see them on the forum for a while. Like what happened to Anni, it was Nicolette who did some detective work ... I'm supposing this ... and members were relieved.

So be it, I'll be gone for a couple of weeks as I'm getting operated for a carpian canal (second hand). So that is why you've got a Froggie avatar that's resting for the occasion.

Maybe you can type with your litttle webbed feet while you are on the mend? Seriosly, I hope the procedure goes well. That there is minimal pain and a rapid recovery. Is it your dominant hand? GEEZ, I always have medical questions, LOL

I love the resting frog avatar! Yes, It's awfully touching knowing one's absence has been noticed-part of the healing of this forum, to be sure and one never gets quite used to it, you know?

I had wonderful care in the hospital with zero 'complaints', but if there were one thing to change, perhaps have your family smuggle in some REAL pudding or custard for post-surgery. I did hate to sort of insult anyone by not eating the meals there but somehow they were just not conducive to sparking the appetite. :)

Much healing wishes to you, and hopefully we'll see you here again before too long again, having had a successful procedure ( which I have to go Google now ) and a swift recovery.

Oh, Dear Froggie,

I'm sorry you need this operation! You're in my heart and prayers for a good and fast recovery... I hope you'll be hopping back to us very soon!!
I like ISH's suggestion! I hope you can toe-tap your progress, so we won't be holding our breath (and turning blue) until you get back. Hopefully you'll heal so well you can post twice as much!
Thank you for letting us know, so we can keep you in our hearts and wishes for rapid healing, and so we wouldn't have to send out an anxious search party for you through wetlands. :)

You could get a straw with some blue tack stuck on the end froggie, end up ducking all day, but its a way round it all. LOL.
