Going to the ocean with my husband and then doing some shopping and then having dinner or going to the Aquarium I really miss that one.

Ah yes, that aquarium! I loved that place when I used to live nearby it. I took my niece there one time too. She loved it. Even the sharks were awesome. I loved the seal show and the sea turtle, but I barely recall that last. I think there was a sea turtle though! I used to go there often.

Rowing a boat over to the far side of Findhorn with my wife, and walking along miles and miles of empty deserted beach, on a hot summers day.

No sounds apart from the warm breeze whistling in our ears, and the waves gently spreading onto the golden sand, then after walking miles, we retraced our footsteps back to the boat.

That was a good day.

We had a rope swing that my sister made for us. We would push each other in it, and really high. It was hung from a tree in the forest behind our house. I don't recall how she got it way up high onto that branch! But I sure am glad that she did. We loved playing in the forest in general. There was an old shed out there and we used to play house in it too. We kept a kitten in there for awhile, but when we ran out of tunafish, which we had been filching from mom's cupboards, we tried feeding it potato chips and it choked and died. None the less, I recall many happy days of us holding the kitten and it purring and purring inside our jackets. It was a well kept secret. I still feel awful about what happened to it though. We just didn't know any better! Our parents had forbidden us to have any pets except hamsters and guinea pigs, so a cat was such a temptation to us, that we could not resist it when a neighbor's cat had kittens. We had fish tanks too, I guess. Daddy kept them clean and all, so we never knew how much work goes into that! I keep fish tanks today too, but I sometimes lose fish. I hate that. I have yet to really understand why I have lost any of my fish. They are so delicate. None the less, seeing them swim around in their tanks has always made me happy!

My husband was a very good photographer and was always going for unique pictures and one day the hair brained idea of bringing our mare Summer into the kitchen for a head shot. Well she got spooked and started slipping on the floor and somehow we managed to back her out of the kitchen door and she did not go running into the house. Hair brained idea.

We artists and photographers sometimes have the weirdest ideas, agreed. I took a 3 hour sailboat ride around the lake I was going to be doing a painting of and later got a sunburn from hell! I just didn't think about the fact that wearing a hat would be a good idea. I got the burn on the top of my head the worst! None the less, the sailboat tour of the lake was most delightful and so much fun. I just had no clue what would happen to me as a result of it! The last time I had gotten a sunburn was maybe 15 years prior and I did not realize I burn so easily. Been careful since, except for the one time I forgot to put sunblock on my belly at the beach when I was wearing a two piece bathing suit. BIG MISTAKE! OUCH!! But again, the beach was a blast of fun.

When I was maybe 10 or so, I wanted a little tractor for Christmas. Daddy bought me a nice one, it was bright red, my favorite color. I rolled it around on the floor and had a lot of fun with it.

This Christmas I won a picture of a red tractor on a farm. There are chickens and a dog in it too. Also a nice farm house. Ah, happy memories....
