An epmty highway when I go home;

Visiting aquarium or zoo;
Visiting plant expo;
Working on anything pleasant, like gardening, cooking, or handcrafting;
Seeing my Hubby;
Playing snowballs and building snowman;
Snow on streets;
Hot tea with cookie after a ski trip;
Smell and sound of the forest.

This is what made all our surgery staff, myself include, nearly die laughing yesterday. The large mastiff was brought to our hospital as an emergency for two days of vomiting and diarrhea. An X-ray revealed a pretty large foreing body in the dog's large intestence. The dog was operated on, and the surgeon had successfully taken out, pardon me, a plastic penis the foolish thing ate. I think the most difficult part for the attending doctor will be to pretend that no one understood what was it.

I had my sip open today in staff meeting and my wife told me "Hey, you sip is open!" I was embarrassed first, but we were laughing really hard. That was a joyful moment.

when everything else seems hopeless or too hard, my doggy makes me smile. As long as I can put on the act enough to let her believe I am in a silly happy mood, she'll dance around like a little nutcase. So funny

I know this is a carer thread but it made me think of my adopted cat that died when I moved. He had a special pillow too, what ever one my head was on! My startle being so bad I always woke up to be peeled off a wall. He was always nose to nose with me looking at me every time I opened my eyes. I never got used to it. It made me miss his BS... Old fart.
