What Makes You Go 'meh' Today

OK. We've got a sad thread, and a happy thread, and an angry. But once we start getting on top of the beast and getting a normal spectrum back, we can luxuriate in that proper reaction we all earned through service - the 'yeah, whatever', 'no shit Sherlock', 'I am underwhelmed', etc.

For starters, the very self-same slippery politicians who did their best to back-stab Brit squaddies in Northern Ireland are now saying that those squaddies should be entitled to the same immunity as the IRA gangsters who shot at them and murdered their mates.
Well really? Bit of an about-turn. Couldn't be a skin-saving exercise could it? Makes me go 'Meh'.

Ned, you know that is exactly what it is. Self serving and only to cover their own asses. The stance on ops in NI has changed about every 3 years or so. Its sad for both sides.
And I have family on both sides of this fence. They try to pull me into it all the time. I just wont have it.
Looking at it, even if England pulls out it wont resolve the conflict, it will destabilize it even more. There is no such thing as a win here.

Something to think about is this: How does it end? Where Is the end?

I spent all day on the phone trying to get someone to give a shit about my kids and to help ... Then a story on the news talks about how the principal of the school my oldest daughter went to in Georgia was arrested today for child porn. I cant help but wonder if my kid is involved. I feel so helpless. Im coming down to just getting meh from so many officials. Maybe Meh is the way to go. If no one gives a shit why should I? I just want my kids back! MEH.
