The Public and Media idolized and memorialized Whitney Houston, yet looked the other way concerning her well-known substance abuse and tumultuous life with singer Bobby Brown.

Charlie Sheen is 45 and his story is all over the news because he is a
substance abuser, an adulterer, sexually promiscuous and obnoxious.

Lindsay Lohan is 24 and her story is all over the news because she is a
celebrity drug addict and thief.

The same can be said about drug addict Philip Seymour Hoffman who died with a needle stuck in his arm.

Something as frivolous as Kim Kardashian's stupid wedding (and
short-lived marriage) was shoved down our throats,

They were young men who most likely came from rural America seeking a chance
to better themselves and to serve this country.

Thanks Sarg but I can't credit for the main body of the post as it was forwarded to me. I was asked to pass it on and couldn't think of a better place that it would be appreciated for what it is than here.

I was walking into the store today to get coffee, morning tends to be the only time I can function inside of any retail environment. Anyhow, I'm walking through the parking lot and this car that pulls through the space drives right out of the space cutting me off. She didn't even bother looking. She pulls out almost a car length across the road and another driver comes down it to find a parking space. Since this angry, lack of attention, saber tooth crotch critter queen starts screaming at the other driver like it was that drivers fault that they simply wanted a parking space to shop. The car was barely able to get around her while she just continued screaming, while I'm 2 feet away sending there watching her flip the f*ck out about nothing... She finally drives off and still didn't even notice I was standing there. Meh.

That happened to me in California a couple of years ago. Was on my way out of the desert on to the highway. Just on a normal road. Slowed down and indicated to pull left into a fuel station. Woman behind me started screaming and ranting while I waited for a gap in the oncoming traffic. When I got a gap and turned in I got a really foul mouthful off her.
At the pump I raised my eyebrows to the girl filling my truck. She said - 'yeah that happens a lot, mums in a hurry'.
What have we come to.
