Has anyone on here had any experience of their psychiatrist trying to force them back into work when theyre not ready?

I haven't seen anything from Labour about the voucher idea (yet!), I thought, maybe too naively that it was a dead and buried idea with the blue government...

I've seen all the press reports this afternoon though about a 'complete overhaul', which the system desperately needs, but with more support, not less. PIP has to be the most depressing process I've ever been through. Do they really, really think people would actively choose to go through that process to 'con the system' as they see it if they didn't really need it. PIP isn't even dependant on being out of work anyway but the press never like to report it that way

I hope that your doc is understanding and aware enough of your health to see what you are doing right now is plenty 'enough'

Yeah, I'm not sure but I think the idea was constructed under the conservatives but it's been in the news for a while and still seems relevant (crops up on my news feed alot), nothing like targeting the most vulnerable eh??!... Well see.

And yes I would like to think that my doctors see what I'm doing as enough but I just don't trust them after making two strong complaints about them, I basically threatened and blackmailed them because of their behaviour. That's how pissed I was!! I wish it was in reality funny but its just not.

At my last dwp benefit assessment the healthcare professional actually said to me, "it seems to me your doing everything you can at your limit and you can't do anymore than that" which was very understanding. I actually said to her at the end about my employment history..."I'm a really good actor, I can fake it through an interview but when it comes to doing the job, I can't sustain it"

After telling my pdoc about everything I do last time he said in December he's going to talk to me about how I spend my time?? Pretty ridiculous

I just googled and it seems the conservatives had plans to make benefits harder to get for disabled people, not labour.
