Ok so I'm due with our child in July, his 1st child.. I just wanted to ask..
Do men that have ptsd experience some joy and happiness when seeing your child being born and holding them for the first time? He says he is excited..

Of course they do! I know I would be extremely happy, at least. It's kinda hard to show emotions for me, but as far as feeling them, it's like everybody else.

But I do know that babies crying bothers me, a lot, but for my first child, man, I think I would be happy. I'd talk to him about it.

I think the only difference between a man with PTSD and a normal man when it comes to a baby is that the PTSD sufferer would likely experience more anxiety. But I'm sure he'd still experience joy. He just might be more overwhelmed than any ordinary guy.
