News Heads up to United States people: President to test Presidential Emergency Alert system this week

This kind of thing really gets to me. I like having a heads up. Here’s your heads up!

On Thursday, September 20, at exactly 2:18 PM Eastern Time, FEMA and President Trump will be testing the Presidential Emergency Alert system. The alert will be on TVs, radios, and most cell phones (smart phones probably), and you can’t opt out of it.

If you are near a cell phone tower and your phone is on, you might want to silence it :) if it frightens you like it does me, anyway. Sane with other forms of media delivery. TV, radio, etc.

The message will read:
Header: Presidential Alert
Message: THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.

The TV did like five minutes late. I was in a psychiatrist office and asked them politely to turn the volume down. They didn’t but it was still just a test! :P

I have a feeling they’ll want to do another test? But hopefully not
