It's been a while since I posted but I'm still here. My father had surgery a little over a week ago, then developed complications and ended up on a ventilator. He's off of it now but his recovery is going to be slow. My sister and I have spent most of the last week and a half at the hospital. My poor mother has come down with bronchitis and is not able to be at the hospital with Dad. This is my first day back at work in over a week and I so don't want to be here. My mind and heart just aren't in it today. Sitting around a hospital is exhausting.

Anyway, I hope everyone out there is doing well. I'm hangin' in there as best I can. Lots of twitching going on. Guess that's from being overtired and worried. Y'all take care and I'll check in with ya soon.

Update: Dad is out of ICU and making progress. Slow but sure. It's been a long two weeks for me and my family. Hopefully we're on the right track now. My grandson turned 4 yesterday. Oh to be young and carefree again. No worries about being responsible, just who is going to get your juice box for you. Anyway, thanks for the support guys. I'm struggling with my beast today. People seem to just get on my last nerve so I'll keep this short. Take care everyone. Hope to be in a better mood tomorrow. Gotta go see my doc, maybe that will help.
