Home Made Decoration And Practically Finished Kitchen

I could not find decoration I wanted for my chimney, so made my own. And as promised to some, pictures of my almost finished kitchen, LOL. Not manage to find a border yet that suits.

Oh and yes that clock is real LOL. A wedding present from a friend of hubby's.

I love the chimney decorations, well done. I love doing homey type stuff, it does take an effort these days though. My christmas chutney is still not done, perhaps for Easter.
I needed to think of a gift for an 80 year old lady, we take her to the hairdressers each week, she wouldn't get out otherwise. I decided homemade food, so a jar of my best strawbery jam and a box of my white chocolate and cranberry fudge. I know I biased but I'd be thrilled that had made something, I'd feel special.

Finally finished the gingerbread houses for my grandkids, I put more time in baking than in decorating

Unfortunately I am cheating with the gingerbread house for my grandchildren. I bought a kit to build one up, am going to do this in the morning while waiting for my mince pies to bake. :D

Oh yummm mince pies, would love to have a piece of that ... as for the gingerbread houses, do kids really make a difference if it's home made or a kit ... I do it because it keeps my mind off other things ... Merry Christmas to all

Very nice everyone! Didn't do much (nothing) for decorating this year. Not really worth the effort when you have to just pull it down and into a box before the first.

Some of our decorations. The kids and grandkids won't be here until Christmas so we went ahead and filled the stockings. The big tree has most of the presents but we added a few more as we got wrapping done. The small tree on the entertainment center is a small tree of my wife's with only Boyd's Bears. A specific manufacturer of collectable bears here in the States.
