How Do You Like To Dress?

I like to wear pants, sometimes colorful knits and sometimes jeans. I like T-shirts in the summer, longer sleeves and sweaters in the winter. Fall and Spring, it is whatever the weather calls for, sometimes changing in the middle of the day to accomodate the changing weather.

I actually "like" to dress better than I do. I have some treasures tucked in the closet from summer frocks to formal occasion... but day to day my pragmatic and practical side are the norm and I could probably be on that tv show "what not to wear" due to wearing capris, over sized tops, sandals even in winter, and old broken in overalls.

Paisleys. I like paisleys or unusual prints. I also like color and have to work hard a bit so I don't dress like I need a big red rubber nose, big floppy clown shoes and a clown name. But colors make me happier.

I'm the the Albatross. I love dressing well, but day to day tend to live in jeans or cords, and in winter lots and lots of layers. I love vintage, and have a small collection of vintage garments that I bring out for special occasions, or sometimes just as a treat for me. I think in part it's an interest inherited from my dad, who was involved in the fashion industry in the sixties, and part just the child in me who never got to play dress up before.

My style is a little 'on the edge' for the community I live in, but I try not to let that prevent me from wearing what I want. I love wearing hats, and just doing that can lead to funny looks round here.
