That doesnt sound like customer service, at all. That sounds more sales/clerical. Customer...
It is a county job, and I send out applications to the public within our county whether they want us to come out to inspect their home to reduce their energy bill. So I answer the phones which are mostly elderly folks. Then I have files to make and schedule the crew who do inspections. My god with all our technology one would think they should be updated. Nope, all paper works, so they plop a file on my desk and I'm trying to figure out what the heck to do with it. LOL. Like I said on the department brochure it says Weather Stripping. When a customer calls for an application they asked what we do. So I go down the list in what is inside the brochure. Well after finishing the call, the coworkers said "Never tell we do not do Weather Stripping". So I responded "I am going by what the brochure says". The coworkers says we only do Doors not Windows. I said "Well someone needs to fix that brochure and make it clear to the public". I thought heck with you guys and this department. LOL
