I was in the Coast Guard and spent some time looking at the docks in Haiti myself back in '88-89 and dealing with Hugo on St. Croix, doing some LE in South America all back in late 80's and early 90's then to the reserves and call up after 9/11... and although I was suffering from PTSD from it, the Beast didn't really start kicking my ass until 2005 then to my total meltdown in the spring of 2011.
Anyway, not trying to hijack your intro with my story. Just trying to let you know that in addition to all these other good folks, there is at least one here with what sound like similar personal experiences. The Beast doesn't discriminate and he has a long f*cking memory.
