I've narrowly avoided the same thing with a cat in the past...they seem to like doing that for some reason? It's like "Here...you can literally kiss my ass, silly human". I like that about cats...as long as they don't do it to me.

My cat is somewhat deprived sexually.. he comes to get petted and puts his but to me, if I scratch his back by the butt he gets all lovey for about 5 seconds. Then you better remove your hand or his 1" claws will! (House trained Bob Cat 110% wild).

When I did have a cat, the worst event was waking up with it sleeping on my face, and its arse was right on my mouth. It was gross... then you have to give them attention... dead set suckers and animals know it.

reminds me of one night awaking to extreme pain. (Scooter/shadow) He was about 1 month old in bed with me decided he was hungry so he breast fed himself on my nipple!
