Sonic, I think it's great that you're stepping in that direction and letting go of the past.
I really recommend that you talk to the cutie at the Shell station when you're feeling
strong and stable within, and not vulnerable about past pain or failures.

We're all always vulnerable about those things,I'm not suggesting you wait until your cured and perfect, which isnt real and
thats a good thing. Our bad and painful experiences make us interesting and humble, why would we want to erase that ?

I am suggesting that you do it on a day when you know that no matter how it turns out, you'll be able to handle the feelings
without reacting intensely.

I'm not just talking about if you ask her out and she says no or has a boyfriend, I also mean if it goes well and you start self sabotaging
because of worthiness doubts you have in general. I just read your other post, and it looks to me like your inner struggle revolves around self worth.

A big part of creating self worth is learning to protect yourself in vulnerable situations when you can.

You're really cute, I said that in my comment on one of your posts.I clicked on your pic to make it bigger, and thought Aww, whats this cute guy who's only 30-ish
beating himself up for? If he stopped all the self-flogging and just got out and found places he could meet nice girls he'd snap out of it.
