I went outside and had a good time

Today I went out with my family, we went to the woods and it was good. There was a stream, birds, a breeze. We saw some dogs, one was too friendly but it was fun watching them run.

I took some pictures of the water that I’ll add later.

We also found a mutated dandelion, the stalk was double or tripple the width of a normal one, and the seed head was the same, as if two or three had been put next to each other and fused together. Fascinating.

I have not been out much for a long time, and not somewhere I enjoyed like this. I didn’t want to go but I did anyway because I realised it would be good for me, and it was more nice than I expected.

I love nature, I am happier since living in a less urban area.

Also had a very frozen icecream on the way home (I liked it like that)

Yaaay!

Right there with you! My cats and walks through the woods (or even just watching birds at my feeders) are what keep me going.

Keep it up! :-)
I like cats, what cats do you have?

A birdfeeder is a good idea, or a birdtable, I should get one, I like the bigger birds.

Thank you, I hope I can do it again, and you as well

I have two--a very sassy tortie and a beautiful black Manx. They are the loves of my life!

Things really changed when I put up my feeders. I had to take them down at one point for about a week, and I couldn't believe how much I missed them! I also like the larger birds--black vultures, hawks, etc., but I mostly get little ones at the feeder. With one exception--I had a pileated woodpecker twice. Huge!

Lots of cool bird and cat pics in the photography forum!

Wow, I never saw a black Manx before, I didn’t know about that type. Black cats are my favourite. Do they sleep together? It’s nice when cats do that.

I wish I’d see a vulture like that, they’re so cool! I haven’t seen a woodpecker either, I didn’t know they were so big compared to the little birds

Sometimes they sleep together, but they mostly ignore each other or fight. LOL

Some woodpeckers are very small, and I get those every day at my feeder. But the pileated is HUGE, and doesn't come around much because he's just too big for the feeder.
