back in the early eighties, i kid in my brothers class at school was a skinhead (it was very popular at the time and didn't have the racist tones it later developed). Anyway, this kid was a bit fat too. He was in the bath and there was a knock at the door. He gets out, wraps himself in an orange towel, and, still dripping, he answers the door. Turns out to be a couple of Jehovas witnesses doing the rounds.

"No thankyou" he says, Quick as a flash "I'm a buddhist"

Genius.

A mate of mine just invites them in and turns the conversation round to physics. You can defeat the logic but you can never win.

Personally, I just politely decline. And in extreme circumstances you could always just pretend to be French. Or a satanist.

Yeah, Fin and IrtonPike, I was laughing and choking so hard at your solutions that my husband came in here to see why I was howling so loud. I think I want to be a Satanical Buddhist. That'll give 'em something to think about as they walk to the next house! I have to remember not to drink or swallow while reading this forum.
