Incident causes confusion later

There was an incident tonight. Triggered a little adrenaline. Turned out to be something stupid and not what I thought it was. A few minutes later as I was getting on the interstate there was a small amount of confusion and a little anxiety. Does anyone have this happen?

A lot of times... it's like my mind and body can't get caught up at the same time... feels like one pulling me one way, the other pulling me another way... I understand.

What @ladee said. After I am triggered, I feel disconnected from my body and I have a lot of confusion and a ton of anxiety, even if I find out its not what I thought it was right after.

I can relate to the disconnected from my body feeling. It's a little hard to describe.
